Many equine fractures can now be repaired at our facility. We routinely operate fractures, ranging from those that need only removal (such as splintbone fractures) to more serious fractures requiring screw and/or plate fixation. Our Eklin digital x-ray system allows us to x-ray our fracture cases on the surgery table and obtain instant images. This helps in proper screw placement and better fracture fixation with less anesthesia time.
